Good conversation is how I like to spend time. If I happen to be walking with you or eating a great meal with you, so much the better. Until I get to know you I will usually take what you say literally so initially sarcasm is lost on me, but I am a quick study. I'm an old fashioned girl when it comes to my values and I have an active church life and am happy with that.

In addition to being a Pilates instructor I am also a massage therapist. Please don't be alarmed if I ask you something like, "Are your hamstrings feeling tight tonight?" Before I notice anything else about a person I notice how they stand and move. Occupational hazard. Being active and working physically are necessary for me to feel well and be happy. I am a tactile person and thrive in a situation where there is plenty of affection shown.

I am looking for a man who does what he says he will do. He values compassion and intuition. He is comfortable with manifestations of a tender heart for those times when I cry at "Hallmark moments." When a man talks straight and tells me what is going on with him I know he trusts me to handle the truth. I need a man who is brave that way. I'm looking for a passionate man who is the ruler of those passions. He is light-hearted and not light-minded. He can take care of everything and still allow me to give to him and nurture him. It's one of the ways I express my love and feel accepted by him--when he welcomes my input and help.

Men often ask me what I do for fun or what I would like to do. I know that comes from a desire to accommodate my preferences, which I appreciate, and also to see if we are like-minded in how we choose to spend time, which is smart. My interests and capacities are such that I will enjoy most any activity in which I am engaged if I enjoy the company. I would much rather wash dishes with someone I enjoy than do any exciting and glamorous thing with someone I don't. I'm sharing this to convey that flashy is not my thing. I am a down to basics kind of girl who believes the basics can be fun. Just spending time with someone who is cheerful, open, and authentic can be amazing.
