I'll start off by saying I really hate these things where you have to describe yourself because in theory it sounds like something that should be easy but it always turns out being difficult because i don't really know what other people want to hear about me and talking about myself usually makes me feel uncomfortable. But I'm going to do my best and try to keep it real at the same time.

I will state now that I am a very opinionated person and many people cannot handle it. So if you want to get to know me you better be prepared for it. As some of my viewpoints can be rather controversial. However, I'm not expecting everyone to agree with my positions on everything, in fact its more interesting if you disagree b/c I like to hear other people's take on the issue. What I like about people the most is intelligence, and so far most people I have met aren't really up to par. What I really desire is an intelligent woman I can have good conservation with. Mainly on topics from current events to critical issues. I require mental stimulation as much as emotional. So if you think you're up to it keep reading, if not don't waste your and my time. With hat being said I'm probably not like any guy you've met before, if we get on a equal footing I'll treat you higher than a princess.

I don't really consider myself to be out of the ordinary but at the same time I'm not in the ordinary either. I have a myriad of interests many which will probably seem weird. One thing that I'm interested in is art, I mostly like (baroque, rocco, neo-classical and impressionism) I really like different styles of music, and I've always wanted to learn how to swing dance. I saw that movie "Swing Kids" when I was little and it just looked fun.

When it comes to movies I primarily like action/war movies. I'm a big WW2 history buff so I like movies that cover that subject matter (good ones at least) so I'm a big nerd when it comes to this stuff... if the movie isn't historically accurate I won't like it (like Pearl Harbor... I hate that movie) Lately, I've been branching out into watching foreign films most of these have some type of WW1/2/Cold War theme tot hem but again I like them. If you have any other types of movies you really like I'll give it a shot and watch it. I'm not closed minded when it comes to arts.

I like to consider myself to be outgoing, but there are days where I just feel like staying in and maybe watch tv or whatever. Those are the times when I feel "un-social" when I just feel like taking a break from all the action that normally goes on. But I do enjoy going out and having a good time, just not every day. I try to remain balanced with the activities I participate in.

The only things I really don't like are movie theaters, I hate going to them, filled with people (usually annoying teenagers) and I'd rather just watch a movie at my own place anyway. Never any lines. Another thing is U really don't care much for Italian food, call me crazy I just try to avoid it as much as possible. I do however love Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Mexican, Greek, Carribbean food and seafood though. And one last thing is I don't like coffee houses all that much because they weird me out how its always a bunch of people sitting around staring at each other sipping lattes. That's weird.

I love watching college football, for me its a big part of Saturdays during football season. My favorite team is the Michigan Wolverines! M!Go Blue! I do like to watch other teams too but Michigan is my favorite. I also love pets, I have a cat and a dog now, a Border Collie!!

I like reading its a hobby I've kinda gotten out of that I want to get back into. Since most of the reading I do is for school (and I have a lot of it) I've gotten out of touch with lesiure reading. When it comes to women I'm not too picky but I will say I do have a slight preference for women that have fair skin and freckles. Not that I'm biased against other girls I just think light skin and freckles are sexy and red hair is hot. I've always had a big thing for redheads.

As for the girl I'd want to meet, she has to be independent as I tend to be rather independent myself. When I'm dating a girl I love having "us time" but I also need my fair share of "me time" as well. I'd like it if she liked animals, dogs, cats etc. Also, caring and compassionate and have a good sense of humor. As stated before I'd like for her to be smart and intelligent. I would preferably like someone who isn't totally shy and wary about social activities. Yes, I wouldn't mind staying in with you and watching a movie and having a meal but its not something I'd want to do 100% of the time.

I'm not opposed to dating someone with kids, however I've seen people put on here they are looking for what appears to be a caretaker/babysitter for their kids. I will be honest I'm not really looking for that. Also someone preferably with a healthy lifestyle, meaning you aren't going to sit in front of a tv all day. That's pretty much about it so if you're still interested drop a line.

For a first date I like to do things that aren't normal for first dates. Like the normal coffee house stuff, dinner and a movie. I'd like to do something really laid back to something grand like going to a museum or even a Zoo. But in reality I'm open for anything you want to do.
