The grocery list: 5'9", peach/red/grey haired, mischevious and sparkling blue-eyed, with long hair and about 140-145 lbs sits well on me. What else? I have no idea what to say anymore. I am actually at a loss for words. Oh well. *shrug* I'll get to it!

Getting To It

I simply love being outside. From morning's light until darkness of night and sometimes beyond. I've been known to sleep outside on my swing under the 160 yr old maples here with a cup of tea that is mighty cold in the morning when my eyes open. Life is for the living and if you are not alive and only exist, then you might as well be dead. Blunt, yes, but you will always know where you stand with me. I am one of those believers in honesty, rationality and truthfulness. I can be stubborn at times and definitely will keep you on your toes if nothing else!! There now..is this enough??

And More...

There are a few things that you will learn about me but only through time, with much communication and using your brain will you be able to understand the complexities of dating a person like myself. If you are not a strong man, in mind and body, as well as matching me wit for wit, then we probably won't get along very well within the dynamics of a relationship as I believe that my partner is and should be first and foremost, someone that I can communicate with to the degree that I desire.

Hopefully, I'll find Him (Yes, He deserves this much respect and more!), the one who understands what I am saying. If not, then He and I will find each other somewhere...of that I am absolutely certain! *Her laughter*

2008 Update

I am loving living in my new house. I adore the radiant heat floors and the jacuzzi isn't so bad either. The river is close and the 22 acres is just the right size for me to wander on or to go get into a boat or canoe and head out fishing for the day. Anyone care to join me and live a simple do what we want when we want kind of life?

I am going to add something on here that I wrote in 2006 but I want to polish it a bit. Perhaps it will give people a bit more insight to myself and attract the kind of man that appeals to me. I know what I need and want in a man and I'll not stop looking until I find him!

I've gone to a couple of meets but find the crowd a bit overwhelming at times. I'd love to meet someone at one of these get-togethers and the two of us decide to go to another place or a quiet corner and learn more about each other. Even talking on the telephone and then meeting would be another option. I believe that you can tell a great deal by talking a few times.

Now why spoil the surprise???? I know what I am doing and I think that He will enjoy what we do that night...especially since we will have taken the time to negotiate, appreciate and understand our differences as well as celebrated our commonalities. *smile*
