If you're looking for a mix of intelligence, humor, creativity and caring, I could be the woman for you! I grew up in suburban Chicago, graduated from high school in Nashville, attended college in Missouri and Kansas and moved to Colorado over 30 years ago. I do have deep roots here, but the wanderlust in me regularly pulls me to new vistas--especially ones with an ocean view! My creative muse is my constant companion and led me to start my own photography business after several years as a newspaper reporter/photographer. In addition to photographing portraits and weddings, I write the occasional essay for a book I hope to put together someday. I have two grown daughters. The people I care about are the primary focus of my life. I am looking for a man who is genuine, open and honest, someone who is energetic at all levels--intellectual, emotional and physical. I'd like someone who is confident but sensitive, tough but tender, a man who is his own person but makes his partner a priority. And someone who makes me laugh! Common interests are a good foundation, but differences can add alot of spice. By this time in our lives, we are well-seasoned and have alot of richness and depth. A first date could be anything from strolling through antique stores to lunch at a cozy bistro to taking in a big-city theater production. (Better save a weekend in Vegas for the second date!)
