I love to smile! So obviously, I’m looking for someone who can make me do that. My family is very important to me and I keep in close touch with all of them. I’m looking for someone who feels that family is an important part of his life as well. Being a teacher, I spend a lot of time around kids and consequently, I’m a real kid at heart. I love my job and couldn’t imagine anything else being more rewarding! In fact, the main image above is of myself with one of the kiddos on Halloween. :-) Though I don’t mind going to bars once in a while, I prefer to visit a museum or zoo, go to dinner and a movie or a show, stay in and play games, have friends over for beer and burgers or try something altogether new and different. I like to try new things whenever I can. I’ve tried everything from Pilates to gymnastics and dance classes to keep in shape. Yoga is my favorite right now. I’m no granola girl but I do try to keep things relatively healthy in my cooking and lifestyle whenever possible. I was a Girl Scout for 6 years as a kid so I grew up loving the outdoors. I’m always up for things like skiing or rock climbing and I’ve always wanted to try white-water rafting. I like to have fun and be adventurous! I’ll try just about anything once. Hmmm... I guess my ideal first date would be simple but fun. Something like meeting for coffee and a walk somewhere scenic. That would give us time to talk and get to know each other without a lot of pressure. I like to take things slow and easy.
