I usually like to say I have an adventurous streak, yet I also enjoy the quiet times of just hanging out at home. Anyway, seems my idea of adventure and the men who have written me are quite a bit different. So I’ll just say that I’m definitely an outdoors type of woman. No, skinny dipping isn’t the outdoor activity I’m talking about or streaking through the woods. I mean REAL outdoor activities, you know camping, and don’t forget the TP, I don’t like wiping with a leaf.
There’s hiking, which in case you didn’t know is a long, long walk. Hopefully along a trail, but maybe climbing over rocks and going uphill. I even have them cute hiking boots and they do WONDERS for a girl’s legs. Fishing is always fun and yes I can bait my own hook, thank you!!
Taking a long bike ride is fun and men in biking shorts, now that’s a sight worth seeing. Sorry, got distracted with a visual. How about snorkeling? You know the thing with the mask and water, hopefully clear water where you can see things. Gardening is another thing I enjoy and spare me the hoe jokes!! I do use one but I assure you I’m NOT one!! Once I get cleaned up from all this dirty, sweaty fun stuff I like to relax and put in a great movie and bring on the popcorn!! I can also be found browsing the men, I mean aisles of Home Depot for a fix up project around the house and you know you HAVE to get some advice from the men there…well I ask them anyway, even if it’s something I know how to do!! Bookstores are another favorite haunt of mine, I love a good book like Joy of Cooking or Joy of Sex or the combo set, Joy of Sex AND Cooking…that gets a bit messy at time, but cleanup is just plain fun!!
So I think that gives you an idea of what this lady is all about, enjoying being out in nature a nice walk during a light rain, might even catch me splashing through a puddle just for pure fun. Ideally the man I’d like to meet would enjoy doing the same and doing them with a woman like myself. If you are comfortable in your own skin, have a strong sense of self, and aren't afraid to expose your flaws, I'm sure we'll enjoy each other's company. I love it when you leave me spellbound with a story or make me laugh until I cry. You not only fascinate me but also bring out the best in me. I also love creativity and passion. Maybe it's your love of movies, your CD collection, or that you hitchhiked across Europe. You are a go-getter, you know what you want in life and aren't afraid to GO FOR IT!
My philosophy on life: Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming... Wow, What a ride!!
First Date
As far as dining out, the small eclectic local flavor restaurants suit my taste over the fancy schmancy ones. That’s fine for a formal occasion but I’m more relaxed in a casual atmosphere. If the weather is nice, eating outdoors is even better. We have a lot to talk about and activities to plan, so a nice quiet out of the way little known café is just the ticket for me!
