I think that it is about time that I updated my profile. I have gone through a couple of adjustments in my life recently, and I think that it would be good for my introduction to reflect that.


One of these adjustments is my decision to finally stop wasting time in my life by NOT working on my passions. I enjoy art, wood working, ceramics, birds, and travel. I am streamlining my life so that I have both the time and the money to pursue these subjects. My first major project is making an Art Deco style headboard for my king size bed, and I am practically jumping up and down with excitement about this! Kind of dorky, I know, but the prospect of finally channeling my creative energy into a tangible reality has an uplifting effect for me.


Part of the research phase for this project is going to involve a lot of visits to the IMA, and I received a gift membership for Christmas. If quiet trips to the IMA, with time spent looking at, discussing, and photographing art does not sound like something you would like to do, well......


I am also saving my pennies in order to find myself a little feathered friend as well. There are several breeds that I am looking at, but I have not made a final decision on which I would like to have. If you are not a bird person, or are not able to at least give them a shot, once again.....


There is a lot more to me that what I have written here. That much is a given, considering that most people are a lot more complicated than a few paragraphs. I'm not saying that I am the deepest person you will ever meet, not by a long shot. I'm just saying that if you feel that you can sum yourself up in just a few short words, the perhaps there is not much of a chance for connection between us. The one thing that I value the most in any relationship, and most especially in a romantic involvement, is the ability to talk to one another.

I guess I kind of covered that in my introduction. One thing that I think that would be good to know is that I am not one for party or bar scenes. I will on occasion go to a bar, but that is about once every year or so. I enjoy spending quality time with my partner, whatever it is we do.
