A few things about me: I get along with most people. I like to travel and meet random people. I'm pretty laid back and don't let little things bother me. I like conversation but I can also be pretty introspective. People tell me I have an odd sense of humor. I say what's on my mind most of the time. I take suggestion well but I don't like being told what to do. I'm artistic and literary. I spend alot of time playing and writing music. I teach music for a living at the moment, but I'm less than a year away from being a licensed nurse. I value my free time. Its not that I like to do nothing, its more that I enjoy having a choice in how I spend the day. I'm not materialistic, but I still think its nice to have nice things. I like to do random nice things for people. I'd rather get someone a gift when its not a special occasion. I'm close with my family, and I make time to see them regularly.

Who I might be looking for: Regardless of what I say here, I'm really open to getting to know anyone. I don't mind someone who smokes pot or drinks on occasion, but I don't do any drugs and I don't drink daily, so I'm not thrilled with the idea of being around someone who is constantly inebriated. I am a smoker, but I don't have a preference for you on that one. It would be nice to spend time with someone who's read a little in their life, or who likes some of the music I like, but its not really a requirement. So I guess the bottom line is that I'm not too particular about the superficial aspects of a person. I want someone who isn't controlling, likes to laugh, tries to do the right thing, and is honest in general. If you have kids, I don't mind. I work with kids alot and I get along with them pretty well. If you have anything on your profile that says "prefer not to say", please elaborate on that for me. I guess the last thing I can say is that there are days when I like to be by myself or do my own thing. Sometimes I tour for a couple weeks and drive around the country playing clubs. So if you need someone there every second of the day, I am not for you. I'm looking for something meaningful, but I don't need to rush anything. I'd like to meet someone and get to know them and see where it goes, without any specific expectations or obligations. I've never cheated on anyone, and I wouldn't tolerate someone doing it to me.
