I recently got out a long term relationship. So I am trying to get slowly back into the saddle. My friends tease me that I am a citified cowboy. I do rope and ride, and I currently own 3 horses. I haven't seriously competed in rodeo's in years but I'm thinking about getting back involved into the sport. I'm a avid reader, I love to cook. Bit of a techno geek. I do have a IQ higher than my shoe size so I can talk about world events with out a dazed look in my eyes. I have a broad sense of humor and love to laugh(usually at the dumb things I just realized I did). I am willing to make fun at myself as well as others.

I am not sure what I'm looking for right now. I know I am not quite ready for a serious long term relationship, but I'm not looking for a simple one night stand either(I think I'm worth at lease a two night engagement). Some one to hang out with on the weekends catch a show with or something. If something more develops great if not I have a new friend.

I guess my "ideal" match would have a good sense of humor. Would have a decent body(doesn't have to be a supermodel but I would rather she not weigh more than I do, and for those who have asked and or are wondering I tip the scales at 205 lbs +/- 5 lbs). Can talk about more than just the weather. Have a interest in horses, be literate. Some one who wants to be with someone but doesn't need to be with someone. Someone who enjoys a night out but just as happy with a night in snuggling on the couch reading or watching t.v./movie.

Any more something simple. Meet some place where we can talk like a coffee shop never a bar(I want to talk to you not get you drunk). If things go well then we can expand it from there by going for a walk in a park or go bowling/play pool or even put put golf:P. Just something where we can still interact and have fun.

I should NOT have to say this but after recent past experiences(note the plural) I guess I do. Ladies DO NOT!! bring your children on the first date. For that matter DO NOT bring them on our second date either. Do not get me wrong I DO want to hear all about them, because they are a very important part of your life. I just do not want to become involved with them until we had a little time establish what our relationship is going to be. If we are just going to be friends or maybe something more serious GREAT we will start incorporating them into our relationship, BUT if I am only going to be a Johnny Come Lately Flash in the Pan then I do not need to become emotionally involved with them. Simply put it is not good for my emotional well being and most surely not good for thiers.
