Hi - My name is Bev. Thanks for reading my profile. I am a romantic, easy going "lady", who would like to be loved and appreciated for who I am - who would like to meet a man who is faithful, honest, compassionate, romantic, and monogomous. He will be given the same love in return. Being single has its virtues - but, I do miss the spiritual and emotional closeness of a committed relationship of harmony and affection.

I am an outdoor person who loves anything to do with the water and mountains. My background is the medical field - histology/pathology (surgical and forensic) urgent care and teaching medical at a career college. I also am a good cook - thanks to my Italian heritage. For several years I owned and operated a bakery and restaurant in Oakhust, 45 miles from Yosemite. That is another story in itself. I have a variety of interest - camping, fishing, traveling and many crafts. I also have given time to the Katrina victims, handicapped, hospice and MS. Working with the Katrina victims is something I will never regret....I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I am comfortable in jeans and dressing for a special occasion. Like most music except hard rock. Have been to several Andrea Bocelli's concerts - one at the Pepsi Center in Denver and one in Sacramento. I recently visited friends in Denver and South Carolina and we attended several concerts and Lowe's Speedway in Charlotte, as well as Dale Erhart Jr's Whiskey River. I do follow racing, golf and football. Having three sons, one that played shortstop with Bronco World Series, I spent a great deal of time on baseball and football fields.

I love animals - especially Golden Retrievers and Labs. At one time, when I lived on 40 acres, my youngest son and I had 8. They were all very special and part of our family. Red Raider saved a little boy from drowning in our pool. He made the front page of Contra Costa Times. I lost a son in 2005, so I know what it is to loose someone you love very much. It is not easy to accept, but, it is now time for me to smell and roses and enjoy the sunsets. Don't let me age scare you....My father always said - age is a state of mind - you can be old at 40 and young at 70.
