Its a funny old thing this internet dating. I never really know what is going to be on the next click. It could be a girl who could change my life profoundly. It might be that a girl I'm messaging isn't really that girl but a big fat bloke from Plymouth who gets off on fooling other men. Sometimes I realise I'm speaking to a girl who is the evolutionary missing link and whose life consists of making and practising making babies.

One certainty about Internet dating is that you will always get asked " what you looking for ? ' Its a pretty loaded question as another certainty is that females will get inappropiately propositioned all the time and so use it to suss out males intentions. When i'm asked i'll usually respond with ' I'm not sure but i'll know when I find it. ' But having thought about that answer for awhile i've decided its a cop out. So after much deliberation and thought I've concluded that I am in search of and in dire need for a muse .

Now for those of you not familiar with Roman and Greek Mythology will not know that the muses were nine goddesses who presided over the arts and sciences. Each one reigned over a different discipline so the goddess Thalia presided over comedy while Urania covered astronomy and so on.

Yet the idea of the muse has changed significantly over time and although not forgotten has transmogrified into something modern , inspirational and deeply profound. A 20th century writer Robert Graves introduced the idea of a Muse-Poet, generally a man who uses a Muse for divine inspiration in his music, words and life. " ...the real, perpetually obsessed Muse-poet distinguishes between the Goddess as manifest in the supreme power, glory, wisdom and love of woman, and the individual woman whom the Goddess may make her instrument... So if you hadn't guessed the muse, or woman is the ultimate inspiration for the muse-poet...which is me and without which my life is all the more darker with her absence.

Now don't worry if you don't get anything i'm talking about...thats ok. I'd be more than happy to clarify to any open-minded individual, and please by using the term open-minded I'm referring to it by way of intelligence and perspective and not to sexual deviancy. If on the other hand your thinking i'm mad or am talking nonsense then the person your looking for is on another search page. But before you message them make sure you check their pictures for a.) Pitbull or staffs bull terriers, b.) Chunky bling with tracksuits c.) Pictures of sixpack. Also you'll want to check their profile for excessive use of irritating text speak which will no doubt suit you down to the ground.
