About Me
Hey! I moved to Phoenix from Washington a little over a year ago, and I just bought a house in Glendale. I work in Scottsdale for a tech company as a part of their IT department, but eventually I'd like to get into some hardware programming and maybe get to a point where I can work for myself.
For fun I ride my motorcycles, work on cars, go to d-back games, and try to stay active. I have a newer crotch rocket, an old cruiser, and my 68 Chevy pickup. When I get the chance I like to go sailing, kayaking, tubing, and swimming, and in the winters I like to go snowmobiling and snow boarding. Recently I've been getting into rock climbing and racquetball as well. I also love to BBQ and hang out by the pool. Even though I'm pretty outdoorsy I'm also a bit nerdy so some weekends I just like to stay inside and play video games with my buddies. I'm always the life of LAN parties, haha. Politically I lean to the right. My family owns a lot of farm land and as often as I can I like to go back and hang out at the farm or head out to the mud pit and get dirty. I listen to mostly country and rock music, but I mix it up a little depending on how I feel and who I'm hanging out with.
I'm looking for a girl that can have fun no matter where she goes, but not someone who parties every night. I'd like to find a girl to try new things with like sky diving, more advanced rock climbing, go-kart racing, or any of the million other things on my list of things to try. Basically someone who can keep up with or challenge me.
First Date
Dates should be like mini adventures. A good date could be just going out to dinner, maybe coming back to my place to watch a movie, but if the girl is up for a little more fun I like taking motorcycle rides out to small towns and finding cool things to do. In Washington I liked to go up the gorge to the glass blowers and watch them give free demonstrations then ride back along the waterfalls. Another good date might be hanging out at a local park walking around talking and getting to know one another, it all depends on the mood.
