I’m a multi-faceted person with numerous interests and I seem to continually have new ones. :-) In fact, I have some great friends who I only get to see now and then. They tell me that it's always fun when we get together, because I always seem to be into something completely new.

My latest endeavor was a stage play, in which I played my largest role to date (acting is one of my favorite pursuits, though I don't get to enjoy it too often). I also started volunteering at a local hospital a few months back and started playing more tennis (I'm somewhere between beginner and intermediate). Last year, I took up the guitar (lessons have been on the back burner for a while; I plan to resume soon), bought a road bicycle, and sprouted a fascination with veggie diesel (purchased a used car and had it converted it to run on waste oil from a restaurant)!

I'm interested in sharing these new interests (among others) with a fascinating someone. I'm also eager to become absorbed in YOU and the things that make you ponder and tick…and of course, to sharing adventures that are both new and familiar to both of us.

You’ll find me a very easy-going and amiable companion, a valued confidant and sounding board, a fun and spontaneous travel buddy, and a responsible and trustworthy friend. If we happen to “click” (in that oh, so elusive chemistry department), you’ll find me remarkably attentive, affectionate, and sensuous.

I'm a mild-mannered kinda guy, a calming influence, rational and reassuring in times of stress (well, your stress)...good listener, loyal friend. My outlook and attitude tend to be very positive; people remark that I seem to be smiling a great deal of the time.

I like to keep the moment light, with silly observations or irreverent comments. But I also adore depth in conversation...sharing in the revelations of your life journey or exchanging philosophies and abstract ideas. I have a curious mind and tend to ask a lot of questions in my desire to find delve beneath your surface. I don't make judgments...or at least try very hard not to.

I'm seeking an extraordinary woman...someone who has a deep appreciation for life, and a passion for its pleasures and possibilities. She has an open mind, and an extremely kind heart. She's a glass-half-full kinda gal. Emotionally healthy and balanced.

Are your friends always bestowing on you that compliment, “You’re such a great catch! You deserve someone really terrific”? Well, I think it’s about time that these Great Catches catch each other, don’t you?

First meetings are great for just getting to know each other and gauge if there's a spark. I would suggest something like a picnic and a hike, if it happens to be a lovely day. Are you adventurous enough for a motorcycle ride? Meeting for coffee or a drink is always a safe bet, but if you're a Scrabble fan, maybe enjoy our beverage and conversation over a game?
