I was raised the old fashioned way. I'm complicated, mysterious, friendly, and above all respectful. I like the outdoors most of all. I work outdoors, I play outdoors. Photography, metal detecting, GeoCaching, walking, roller skating, campfire, fishing, lakes, rivers, forests, moon, stars, Adventures, thrills!!!!!!!!!! I like to jump in my truck and take off on a seconds notice to find somewhere/something new to explore. Chances are I may end up along a river bank, lake, or browsing through an old cemetery maybe picking a hat full of berries or mushrooms. A day trip to nowhere, a weekend trip to somewhere. When not outdoors I enjoy movies (cinema or rented) shooting pool, playing Texas Hold-em, or just hanging out visiting with friends.

Not looking for a rocking chair partner at this time...

But! what I am looking for is one woman that I can barely wait til the end of the day to see. A woman that I care enough about to leave little notes stuck to the mirror or shoved in her pockets, telling her just how much I do care. A woman who calls during the day and my heart skips a beat when I hear her ring tone. A woman to walk hand in hand with as we walk down life's path together... River of Dreams?

I don't have a favorite football, basketball, baseball, soccer or hockey team. I don't have a NASCAR driver's number stuck to the back of my truck. I don't care to sit and watch sports on television too often. I have nothing against sports they just aren't high on my entertainment list. Nothing says I won't sit in a rocking chair and watch a football game.............. as long as the rocking chair and TV are on the beach!!! ;)

It has been pointed out to me that "self employed" isn't the best thing to list under Profession. I imagine that could be anything, or nearly nothing. I have changed it and this is what a Lead Abatement Contractor consists of: I am certified in Iowa as a lead abatement contractor. I do Federal/State funded projects to help make homes safe from lead paint poisonings, mainly the less fortunate and young children.

This is a dating site, not a family photo album site. Ladies! I would imagine most men, like myself, are wanting to see photos of "YOU", not SOLO photos of grandkids, cats, dogs, cars, motorcycles, on and on. ( Why would you post a child's photo on an adult site?) I am not here to date your family, pets or cars... I realize those all come with the package, but lets be sensible. You wouldn't go shopping for a dress, and buy it, if all you could see were the shoes and purse would you???

One immediate turn off for me is when your main picture is 5-10 years old. What's with that? We all looked better 10 years ago, but those days are gone. I actually call that "not" being 100% honest. Just be you for who you are, you will find that works best in this world.

If the weather permits, meeting in a public park near a lake or river. Walking, talking, just learning about one another. If there is a connection then between the two of us we can plan the rest of the evening or our next rendezvous.
