Wow!.. it's raining sideways, the wind is roaring, thunder and lightening is shakin' & quakin' my world... I'm lovin' it.

I'm a United States Marine Corps vet from about 400 years ago — give or take a few hundred years. I'm confident in myself and fear very little. I’ll look the devil in the eye and grin - but will humble myself before my Creator. I'm Scotch/Irish/Native American - my Mamaw was Aniawi Cherokee. I'm originally from the mountains of Southwestern Virginia. The father of one daughter & one grandchild. I'm not an alchy, druggy, wimp, woos, dork, geek, freak, nor felon. Damn girl, it never even crossed my mind to sharpen my axe over the winter.

Yep, here I am, I've turned the page and can't wait to begin the newest chapter in this adventure. I have problems with letters, numbers, colors, space, time and general overall reality .. other than that I'm like all the other boys..and if I've been very good, they let me out once in a while.

I love to tease and have fun, and hope you can appreciate my rather corny colloquial humor mixed here and there throughout my profile…and by the way, I’m not really crazy...

If you're looking for pretty and rich - I ain't it. However, I just may become better looking the more you get to know me. Why? Because I don’t mislead or misrepresent myself as I’ve read that some do on here, in other words- I’m not a lyuh or playuh - I'm a quality person with a lot of content to my character.

As an extra added bonus - I'm a lot fun, honest and open minded, good-natured and have a whetted intellect. Now I ain't no Alfred Einstein by a long shot, but I do have a fairly high IQ, but I don't put much stock in it because I sometimes think my dawg is smarter. I’m rather eclectic, I try to fit in with any crowd, I’m exceptionally quick-witted and up-front with people. I often laugh at myself and I'm sure I’ll get smiles and laughter from you too. I can be warm, caring, and very affectionate. Trust and loyalty is something I value highly. I find that making plans is great, but that spontaneity is every bit as good, if not better at times.

I love learning and constantly seek knowledge and wisdom. While I don't necessarily agree with everything any particular author pens, I agree with Dr. John Gray when he says that we must connect on four different levels to last a lifetime. Those being physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Hold on, it ain't all sunshine, roses and apple pie good and it's not always easy to be easy, and I surely don't think I'm perfekt in any aspect of my life whatsoever. I'm a procrastinator at times and I can be bullheaded sometimes too. Basically, I'm a live-and-let-live kinda guy. Mostly, I'm a fun-lovin' man with a crazy sense of humor (the good kind).

You like barbecue? Cause I like to makin' it - the real deal, not to be confused with grilling, and make my own sauces too. I don't use that stuff you pour on out of a bottle, but hey, that's me. I make several different sauces, but it seems everybody's favorite, and mine too, is my jalapeño-peach sauce, and don't be goin' ewwww, if you never tried it. I can go mild to wild and it's all lip-smackin' yummy! Ain’t nothin’ left but a pile of smoky bones when they’re done and sometimes they gnaw on them too. I love folks bragging on my Q. Of course, I've learned that plying them with copious amounts of alcohol beforehand always assures the chef's chances for compliments. Nah, just messin' with ya. I don't drink to excess and I really don't encourage people to drink, but it seems the ones who drink a wee bit much, tend to brag on the Q a little more, so God bless'em — have another bone and a Bud.

My age discourage you? If it does, don't let it! My drooling problem is almost cleared up and on good days I can remember who I am. [insert giggles here] I’m a laid-back and cool 60 - I don’t feel, speak, nor act like some feeble old dude just goin’ through the motions or like death standin' on the street corner- suckin’ on a lifesaver… and God willin', I’ll be granted many more years to torment your planet. Not 'The Green Mile' kinda time, but hey, you got 35 years or so to spare?

There’s fire in my soul. I'm health conscious. I'm into natural & alternative health in addition to conventional medicine. It works well for me. I reckon I’m about as strong and healthy as a Tennessee plow mule.

My perfect match? Hmm.. who'd wanna be…er .. I mean, could there be such a thing? I surely hope so…that’s a tuffy and I have no really specific preconceived ideas about it, but I would say in a nutshell, I desire a woman with warmth & beauty emanating from within her soul as well as outward beauty. An adventurous spirit, who is open, sensual, honest, and good-hearted. A great sense of humor is an absolute must for me in a friendship or relationship. The three most important ingredients for me is communication, trust and communication — Toss in a fair amount of intelligence for good measure to challenge and stimulate my mind to hold and keep my interest would be just ever so kewl.

I'm looking for someone to become friend and companion, to spend time, do things and go places with, to share the things that life may have for us, whatever and wherever that may take us.
