A Midwest girl living in Hoboken the last 2 years, I work in marketing and have also lived in Florida and France.
I choose chaos over predictable boredom, challenging over easy, terrifying over safe, spicy over bland, nights over mornings, 4th of July over Christmas, European vacations over domestic ones, new restaurants over reliable favorites, city over country.
The best thing my mom ever taught me was that I could do anything I wanted to in life.
I am pretty well-rounded, expect a lot of myself, and think it fair to do so of others.
I live to make memories and experience life as much as possible. For fun I like to explore the city, try new restaurants, invite friends over and cook dinner, travel when possible, sleep in on Saturdays.
So what am I looking for? An intelligent, attractive, tall (5 feet 11 inches+), compassionate, funny, ambitious, grounded, family-oriented, passport-holding man to share some laughs over a few bottles of wine.
First Date
My ideal realistic date is trying a new restaurant in NYC and going for drinks afterward at a quiet, dark bar where we can easily talk and get to know each other. We get kicked out of the bar as they close because we just don't want to end our night, so we go for a late walk through the neighborhood back to the Subway, maybe it rains a little, and a quick kiss good-night. (This is the first date, after all). But there are definitely butterflies and we can't wait to see each other again.
