I'd like to meet someone with intelligence.....warmth....kindness....generosity...
I am witty...caring....and have a self-depricating sense of humor. I read voraciously...and am currently putting the finishing touches on a children's book. It is a sweet story about the importance of perseverance, overcoming adversity, and ultimately....redemption. Children (and dogs) seem to be the true innocents remaining. Both totally unjaded by the world around them. Both seeking to love (and be loved) unconditionally. I'm not a conventional person. I am not confined by "in the box" thinking.

Cathartic Political Commentary: Sadly, I think that the reverberations from the Cheney (yes Cheney) administration will be felt for many years. He and his assistant (Bush) have perpetrated nothing less than a con job on this country. No weapons of mass destruction. No Bin Laden. No mission accomplished. "We'll be greeted as liberators by the Iraqis". Water-boarding prisoners at Guatanamo, and declaring it non-torture. Nothing done about the future solvency of Medicare and Social Security. Nothing done about border security. Little to no regulation/oversight of CEO compensation. Green-lighting of predatory lending practices. Nothing done about the adulterated garbage that China exports here. Nothing done about their inhumane government either.

No healthcare reform. The current "disease care" system is simply an instrument of profit for doctors, pharmaceutical companies, device makers, insurers, and hospitals. They all feed from the same "money trough"...while our national longevity rates are deplorably low. Absolutely no emphasis on preventative care. Sensible interventions like nutrient supplementation are shunned by traditional MD's. Yet...nutrient depletions/deficiencies are rampant (Vitamin D, B12, Iodine, Magnesium in particular).

We went from a surplus....to an unprecedented federal deficit. Democrats are part of this problem as well. The country is not run by the people...or even the politicians. It is run by big-monied interests who lobby (and own) the politicians. It is disgraceful. There.....I have vented. If this resonates with anyone....feel free to contact me.
