I am working dog rescue and foster in my "extra time" it's meaningful and rewarding.
Winding down with the rescue and foster as traveling a bit is on the agenda.




Part of the beauty of middle age- we can be ourselves. Looking for long overdue compatible companionship. Would be happy getting to know someone first, and seeing where it takes us. I am above-average, with a sensitive mind, a good heart, and a committed, humorous nature. Sorry, not Angelina Jolie, but I like to think I'm tolerable to the eyes. I am easy-going , love the outdoors, hiking and birding . All forms of nature and the high desert. Am in reasonable shape, but not an adrenaline junkie. Love deep conversation and the depth of human emotion, and I actively attempt to work on my faults. A life long learner. Finally gaining some much-needed freedom after years of heavier responsibilities, so I'm not anxious to rush into too much commitment. But that doesn't mean I am a player . I seek monogamous, intimate companionship, and don't feel people have to merge to have a loving relationship. My interests include but are not limited to music, reading, cooking and entertaining. A gracious hostess.
Communing with nature is necessary and spiritual for me. Coffee and dark chocolate are daily requirements.
Reading and studying daily, wierd and obscure subjects.I have a fascination of mathmeticians, Andrew Wiles is one of my most admired individuals.(Solving Fermat's Last Theroem).



Making new friends is always great. Having Mr. Right fall out of the sky would be better. The search continues..
There is something else that really excites me, Muscle Cars, the Classics from the 50's to 70's I am seriously considering purchasing and restoring one.

It is important to me that we would enjoy some common interests..For entertainment like John Stewart,Bill Maher and Steven Colbert. I also enjoy The Sopranos,Six Feet Under, Deadwood and Big Love.
I like Science, Documentaries,History and Facts.
I read mostly technical manuals lately. Red Hat Linux, Databases and Fractal Geometry.Routing and Switching is interesting and fun for me.
In the recent past, more spiritual reading.

Music is important to me. I like catchy lyrics and smart composing, a song that evokes emotion.

Hawiaiian, Hindu Chanting and Native American. I appreciate Classsical Music.
Just give me John Coltrane and Joni Mitchell if you have none of the above.

I travel well,love Kauai,South America and Mexico. I am dreaming of seeing Spain, Eygpt and Africa. Desiring to travel extensively in the future.
