I'm a contradiction in many ways - I'm traditional, yet unconventional; serious, yet silly; domestic, yet free-spirited; classy, yet down to earth. I can enjoy a weekend in the mountains or in Manhattan; museums or a motorcycle ride; Dexter or documentaries; fine wine or ice cold beer; a football game or the theater; a game of hearts, scrabble or 8-ball; Radiohead, Billie Holiday or Creed; a gourmet meal or a great hot-dog! I am bright and curious, and enjoy learning new things - I'm currently learning Spanish and taking oil painting classes. I've attached a photo of one of my most recent paintings (and all the photos of me are recent as well)! I have a spirit of adventure and love to travel, and enjoy exploring everything from exotic places to the local junk store! I love photography, art and architecture, all of the great outdoors, window-shopping and people-watching, festivals and flea markets, dogs and cats, antiques and history, and I'm crazy about movies of all sorts, old and new. Life is great, but everything is better when shared with someone special!

I am drawn to men who are easy-going, intelligent, funny and playful. I enjoy men who are upbeat, who don't sweat the small stuff, and can see the humor in most things (including himself!) I'm seeking that special connection with someone to share the exceptional and ordinary joys of life -- someone who makes whatever I'm doing better, just because he's there.

I think meeting over a drink is the best way to relax and get acquainted, to see if the basic ingredients are there to create any sort of "chemical reaction."
