I am a divorced mother of a 6 year old, who is my first priority..

I am interested in starting a friendship and see if anything develops beyond that. I am in no big rush for a relationship, but I would like to explore my options, and see what happens. It would be a great thing to find someone who understands me, accepts me, and loves me....for me!

Some of my interests? I love to garden. My dream is to some day buy a big old farm house out in the country and have a big garden and lots of flower beds! I also like reading. mostly non-fiction or current events. I love music. I enjoy listening to a wide variety of music, but I am a bluegrass/country music junkie. Especially the old stuff...

Recently, I have been attempting golf. I do like it, but I am absolutely horrendous at it. I do much better at the driving range right now. I really need some instruction on my swing. I am willing to work at it though. That is what is important....right??

I like to go antiquing. Not necessarily to buy anything, just to look at all of the old stuff and imagine the person who owned it before it found its way to the antique mall. I like to visit historical places. I have always wanted to visit Gettysburg, Washington DC, Philadelphia, just to absorb all of the history there.

I like sitting on the porch on hot summer nights listening to the radio and watching the stars..I like to take long Sunday drives, I like to watch my Pittsburgh Steelers, NASCAR (Denny Hamlin!!!)...The Reds...I have not been to a Reds game in ages! I have never been to a NASCAR race, and I have really wanted to experience that for several years!

When going out on the town, I am partial to the little out of the way places with a good juke box, cold beer and a pool table...not really into the dance club thing anymore..I prefer a more laid back atmosphere.

As I mentioned, I enjoy gardening, but I also like to fish, and YES I bait my own hook! (OK, I bait my own hook if it's night crawlers...wax worms are gross..they look like maggots!) I have never been camping but would love to try it out sometime. Anywhere water is, I like to be there!
