I'm a 5'7", 44-year-old, educated, professional white male from the East Coast working long-term in the film industry.

I've been single for over a year, but don't like the dating (translation: "club") scene.

I've never been married, and have no kids.

I believe that the MOST important part of "girlfriend" and "boyfriend" is the word "FRIEND".

I enjoy cooking, but I'm not 5-Star. But I grill a MEAN steak!!

I have a great circle of friends, but I want something more in my life.

I've been told I'm intelligent, and fun to be around with a great sense of humour. (One of my friends told me, "...you are a handsome, intelligent, erudite and articulate guy. AND hellaciously FUNNY to boot!")

Personally, I'd never make up anything using the word "erudite"!

I'm loyal, too (sometimes to a fault), once I find that special someone. Been on the other side of that coin more than once, and it's never nice.

I'm looking for a lady who is intelligent, slightly twisted sense of humour, who can take a joke as well as give one. Someone I can treat like a true lady.
