I have just arrived in Bemidji, MN (for a summer vacation), and would love to meet a local running partner (it might be a good idea if you have some time on your hands).I'm pretty easy going for the most part (REALLY). I have a few beliefs that I adhere to, but I like to think I'm open minded enough to learn constantly. I'm fairly active and I have the summer off. I have my writing work, but I totally enjoy my downtime and I suspect I'll never be accused of being a work-a-holic. I enjoy a mix of intellectual pursuits and creative activities such as musical performance, writing, and painting. As well, I'm a fool for yard sales and obscure thrift shops. I enjoy a good read, conversation, movie, and dinner with company at times. Please, feel free to contact me, I may not say what you want me to say, but it will be true (and very civil). I'll tell you right upfront, I have a pretty open sense of humor (I like all kinds of humor from slapstick to satire to obscure to the sick, demented, dark, creepy, spooky, oblique, pink, lighthearted humor that the British keep trying to corrupt our country with (Black Adder, anyone?). Soooooooooooooo, if you do desire to contact me, please, please, please, please, leave your issues with your ex at home (and reserve kindness for me or another lucky recipient), and be prepared to just relax, let your guard down (and maybe your hair), and just have some fun. Let' be real basic, perhaps we'll meet once, and then never, never, never see each other again, right? So, why not just have some fun, and not worry about the past, the future, or for that matter, tooooooooooooooooooo much of the present (no, I'm not an anarchist!!!!! LOL).

I'm totally open. If you happen to own a sailboat, and would like to teach me how to sail--I'm an excellent student. If you enjoy just meeting for a coffee or a margarita, well, I'm open for that as well. Mostly, I'm open to many things to do for enjoyment, as long as we can both agree on a meeting place and time. I can tell you that I've lived enough of life to know that I should, as James Bond might say, "never say never"!
