I'm a southern gentleman. But I'm also an example of nice guys finishing last. I was born and raised in Alabama. My family did move around, and we ended up in Enterprise. I went to ASMS in Mobile for my last two years of high school. It was like a little college, which was interesting. Then I went to an art school called SCAD for a few years, studying computer animation. I had a goal of working for Pixar or ILM. But my dad's battle with lymphoma caused me to take a break from college and move back home. Luckily, my dad made a complete recovery after a couple months of radiation and chemo. He was bald for awhile, but then his hair grew back. Now he's back to normal. I like being with my parents - the people who give me the most support. But I am really feeling the need to get back to school and get a degree so I can have a real career. When I am not working, I am a soccer referee and a coach. I have been playing soccer since I was 5, and now that I'm getting older I want to give back to the sport that I love. I have been a referee since I was in high school. But I still hate it when parents yell at me for not making the "right" call. I just started coaching in Fall '05. I feel that it's fairly easy to coach soccer, since I have been playing it for so long. I was laid off from my boring full-time job in June '06. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise: Since I am considered a "displaced worker", I am able to go back to college for free. Thanks WIA! I am attending Wallace in Dothan and majoring in Computer Information Science. I'll probably get an IT job when I graduate. But I really want to be a high school soccer coach...

Update: I'm now a JV Soccer Coach at the local high school, so part of my dream has been realized.

Latest Update: I recently became a Senior Game Advisor at the GameStop on Ft. Rucker. It's a great job and I have fun working there. Of course now I have a bit of a video game addiction :P

My favorite first date is pretty casual. I like to meet my date, then go somewhere so we can get to know each other. I like parks, lakes, the mall, restaurants. After a nice talk and a meal, we may go see a movie or go to a club. Or to a nice quiet place where we can continue the conversation. If the date goes well, I will end the night by asking my date if I can kiss her.
