First of all, if you are so innundated with emails from men that you can't handle it, don't write me. If you don't really want to meet anyone and are just screwing around, don't write me. I don't understand why so many times I get "sure, lets set something up-but I'm really busy this week yada yada yaaaaaada"
If you don't want to meet and see if anything could happen, don't waste your time and mine.

Okay, back to my hobbies, goals, etc.
Hey there. I am a very active guy. I like to hike and backpack, especially in new and different places. I play tennis pretty regularly, and am always looking for new people to play with. I like to cook, and have been into using the smoker I bought for chicken, fish, ribs, etc. I have a whitewater kayak, but am thinking of doing more sea-kayaking.
I am looking for someone that will want to do things with me, that is not set in their ways, that likes to learn new things and explore new places. Traveling is big-whether a 2-week trip planned for a year, or a day trip on the spur of the moment.

Is our first meeting the same as a first date? On either, I think conversation is key-getting to know each other can only really happen face-to-face. I like to get a cup of coffee, or meet for a drink, but have played tennis or gone for a walk, too, because then you are doing something together.
