I’m Dan, I moved to the Chicagoland area from the Detroit area a little over a year and a half ago now. I’ll be honest as I say having a pretty small group of friends here in the Chicago area and being single gets old fast. To sum me up, so you don’t have to read the rest of my rambling if you don’t want, I am never serious, unless I have to be, always up for pretty much anything I still don’t know to much around the city so I take any chance I get to find out anything new. I will often do more to help my friends and family than myself, and I love to do anything fun, new, and exciting. I am pretty sick of bars, meeting someone at a bar is something I have never been good at, and the ones I do tend to meet, I prefer I didn’t… lol. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy going out having a drink or two and having a good time, but meeting new people while doing so… yeah I more just stick with my friends. I tend to be very shy around pretty girls especially ones I’m interested in, until I feel a little mutual interest. But I am working on that. Ok so that’s me in a nutshell if you want some more details read on.

As for me I am a fun loving, never serious, very sarcastic, and always looking on the happy side of life guy. I pride myself in being a gentleman, and really enjoy being the old fashion gentleman, nothing makes me happier than having an amazing girl, and showing off how much I care by holding doors, leading the way opening car doors and so on…I like to play sports, do anything with cars, and pretty much anything that gets me out of the house, although when I have that special someone I love to relax at home and just have quality time. I like to play just about every sport, and I enjoy going to games, or any big social gathering. I like being around people, although I like being away from people at times too. I like to go out to bars or clubs, I do like to dance, although I usually just go to socialize with friends and have a few drunks I tend to always be the driver and the drama reducer… as un-fun as that sounds. I am the great, fun, sweet guy that you can take home to mom, most of my friends parents love me more then there own sons and daughters ?

What I’m looking for… well I want to meet a beautiful woman inside and out. I want to find someone with eyes I can fall into and forget what I was just about to say, a smile that can light up a room, and I want her to be fun, sweet, caring, honest, drama free, and mature, I am not looking for the girl at the bar that gets so drunk she doesn’t know what’s going on, or what she did the last night. I hate the excuse well I was drunk. That is not an excuse. I probably have a lot more I find myself to be very picky in starting a relationship. I know this but I am not into dating someone just to be dating someone, I want to be dating someone because I am falling in love with them, not because she is hot and she will do for now.

Oh and you have not noticed yet, I am honest, brutally so some times, but I know that lying is a short term solution that just tears people apart in the long run, so why waist time, and well I also know that I suck at it…

If you think you might be interested I would love to hear from you. nothing is better than a girl who goes after what she wants. I may not know what exactly i want but i do have quite a list of things i don't.

Oh, and one last thing, growing up in Detroit, I am a big car guy. If you know or like anything about cars bonus, if you can tell me anything about a rotary motor… even more so of a bonus, but if you don’t know anything about cars… not a big deal.

Music: I listen to pretty much everything, anything with a good beat is a winner to me, anything from hip hop, pop, rock, techno, house, oldies, classic rock, modern country, I guess you could call it … pretty much anything but old country, and heavy metal screamo stuff.

Things I can’t stand: hypocrites, liars, people who hide things, and are not forth coming with secrets, and STUPID PEOPLE!

first date well dinner and something... either something i find out my date likes to do over dinner that she might not get to do to often, maybe ending at a bar or maybe going out for ice cream and a walk in a park or a small downtown area, or a big downtown area now that i am in the chicago area away from the detroit area. or anything fun as long as she is up for it, it really depends on the person, bowling or mini golf is always a winner...
