A little about me:

My temperment is an even one and I get along with most people. I will however, avoid hanging out with people who have to talk mean about others behind their backs and those who have uncontrolled issues with alcohol and drugs. I like to pay bills on time and when driving, I use my turn signal when I change lanes and when making turns, looking for same.

My daily dress is mainly causal jeans & shorts. This is mostly because of my job and because I'm usually working out, staying home or going out with my dog. I do enjoy dressing up and going out in heels, a nice dress and make-up! I'm not one for lavish jewelry, fancy cars and showy things though. I'm very low maintanence and love it! I'd rather be comfortable and practical than pretentious and in loads of debt.

I listen to any type music, sample different types of food and befriend any race of people, for I firmly believe in all things, there is some good. My current ringtone is the Black Eyed Peas "Let's Get it Started", alternating between that and Queen's "Somebody to Love". I enjoy listening to contemporary christian music in my car. I enjoy dancing to oldies but goodies. When I watch televison I usually view game shows like wipe-out, comics on the comedy channel, sports like golf, tennis and football and baseball, romance movies, "Overboard" is really funny and "My Big Fat Greek Wedding", was nice, daily news and some reality TV like the Bachelor/Bachelorette and Dating in the Dark is entertaining. I don't follow any particular weekly series or soap.

Watching my weight is important to me and some sort of cardio and/or light weights are done almost everyday. I would love someone to work out with or jog with! Eating mostly healthy foods is also important. I've just started making my own granola breakfast cereal. We could make healthy meals together (with meat)! I'm trying to teach myself how to play piano.

My work history is stable having been with the county for over 25 years.

I do not have a criminal record or a DUI. I do not have a drinking, drug, gambling or spending problem. My credit is okay with minimal debt. No liens or IRS problems.

Giving and receiving affection is important to me but I'm NOT into casual sex, adult movies, magazines or toys. I don't care if you don't have a full head of hair or all your own teeth, just be well groomed and nice.

I'm nearsighted and wear contacts and sometimes glasses. My pictures are all current most of them are 2007, the ones in the black blazer are Jan. 2008.

Sports that I like are golf(watching) but would like to try it, pro-football(watching), bowling(doing). I'm willing to learn to play or do anything that is good clean fun. Oh yeah, I also enjoy fishing, roller skating, amusement parks, playing cards, chess, dancing and walking my dog. Staying home watching tv or a movie or just being home alone together is enjoyable too. I just ran/walked a 5k, that was really fun. I want to run the whole way next time.

I'm very allergic to cats, so I can't have one as a pet, but I do love dogs.

Christianity is important to me and should be to you too. After all, I had no control over such an important thing like being born (almost died at birth). So I trust my life to the one who thought I was special enough to be given it. I try to live thankful for what I do have and in anticipation of what I will have. I watch Joel Osteen, I like his style of teaching. I also like studying the Bible.

If you already have children or don't want to have children that's good, because I won't be bearing you any. I have 2 children of whom I am very proud. Both have bachelor degrees. My son is working on his Doctorate in research psychology and is attending the University of London. My daughter has a degree in criminal justice and is working on her crime scene degree here. I have 1 grandson who is a jock and a Naval Sea Cadet.
