Spring 09, I lost a loved one and it's made me re-think my priorities and my most frequent mantra now is: "It is what it is." I also try to focus on the simple things and moments of each day and find myself saying "wooohooo" as much as possible - even if I'm not feeling it.

My curiosity about who people are, how they live, and what makes them tick is immense, and my warmth makes people want to share about themselves (unless if they are socially or emotionally retarded of course). I appreciate men who don't filter their thoughts but just tell you what they are feeling, thinking, etc. EVEN if it isn't politically correct.

My ideal match would: know how to validate my feelings, AND at the same time have enough backbone to not let me be a brat if I am too tired, or hungry; AND be FREE to love with their entire body, mind, and soul.

You could be a great catch for me if:
1. You have integrity (your word is golden – and follow through is excellent).
2. You have a strong backbone and stand/speak up for what you believe in.
3. You are VERY GENEROUS with verbal and physical affection and ENJOY being hugged, smooched, and sincerely complimented as much as I do.

Initial meet and greet needs to be low key, and casual dress. I think simple things like coffee, or fruit smoothies, and a short stroll - (dogwalk if you have one?) or browse of someplace suffices. 1st REAL date should definitely be something more like appetizers or dinner at an interesting ethnic food restaraunt (Greek, Italian, Mexican, Thai?) with cool music in the background. I also enjoy good coffee or desert some place nice.
