Many people know me for the Kansas City singles supper club I started on meetup. You can find it easily in google. or just go to meetup.com and put in singles. We have almost 600 members and go to dinner, free concerts, bowling, dancing! They are a GREAT group of people and it's more like a mobile version of CHEERS - everybody knows your name! We're a WHOLE LOTTA FUN and it's free. Meetup has groups for just about anything you can think of - cooking, movies, networking, wiccan, board games, you name it or you start one!

I'm looking for someone as eclectic as I am. I admit it, I'm kinda geeky - comfortable with technology, a bit of a brainiac but with a playful side that's just the right side of mischief. Yes, of course I want someone to talk with, who's understanding, sympathetic - all that stuff we women want - but I also want who makes me laugh, giggle, even chortle. And whose fancy I can tickle, too! Gotta like a good conversation - either in person, email or by phone - needs to like words and values a good discussion - or even a heated debate about just about anything! I'm trustworthy, loyal, faithful and true blue but no one who knows me has every described me as a girl scout. My mind is usually working at warp speed and I am passionate about new ideas and interests. To give you a clue, my latest area of research is Neuro Plasticity, the ability of the brain to rewire itself and create new neural connections. See what I mean about being a bit geeky? I enjoy theatre, movies, concerts, the great outdoors but from the comfort of a comfortable cabin - nature boys who want me to camp under the stars and pee in the woods need not apply. Reading is second nature to me and I'll read just about anything in a pinch.

Yeah,I know I'm allover the place here - jumping from one subject to the next. I'm understanding and sympathetic but I hope you've made peace with whatever relationships you've had in the past. In a way, we're all "walking wounded" - refugees from bad marriages, bad relationships, broken hearts - nobody is unscathed. If you've left that baggage behind and you're ready to enjoy what the future has to offer then let's talk.. I'm not hard-hearted but life is about finding joyful moments, random acts of kindness as well as spontaneous enjoyment. Oh, and about random acts of kindness, it sounds hokey but I do it - my version of think globally, act locally. Kindness begins not with big political gestures but with kindness to the person standing next to you in line.
