| | I am an easy going, optimistic, fun loving, intelligent, honest, professional gentleman who loves to travel, experience new restaurants, take in a show or simply have a quiet evening at home with someone special and a bottle wine. I go out of my way to make a woman feel special by listening to your every word, by valuing your opinion, creating romantic nights out or by writting a little note to say how much I enjoy your company. I do this with no string attached, because I enjoy giving and bringing out the best relationships have to offer when two people connect. However, I value the importance of persuing seperate interests and in no way am I the clingy type. I do not play games or follow stupid dating rules. My inner sense of honesty finds such things childish and I will always call a spade a spade.
"Never a dull moment" is also a common phrase I hear from friends to describe me. That's because of my great sense of humour and very positive outlook on life despite its many twists and turns. I take my grandfather's advise to heart, when he would tell me "it is always better to laugh than it is to cry." I stay active by cycling, hiking, playing ball hockey, go karting and working out. I'm in good shape but sorry no 6-pack tummy here, as I do not live in the gym simply because there is more too life. Do you really want to hear about how much I can bench press or curl? I enjoy finding creative ways to spend a night on the town, but I've grown up and no longer find going to club and getting so drunk I'll flirt with a post all that exciting. Besides, I can barely hear a conversation in a club these days and I'll nod like an idiot to absolutely anything you say.
If you can appreciate the beauty of standing atop the rockies on a ski hill in January, the sound of an F1 car roaring by in June, taking a spontaneous roadtrip with no hotel reservations in July, enjoying a drink on the patio in August, or a cup of coffee on the cottage dock on a clear beautiful september morning, then you just earned 1,000,000 pts in my book! I am also a bit of an amateur gourmet and love to cook for two.
I am seeking a woman to share common passions, adventures and explore new interests. I value someone who is kind, intelligent, appreciative, has a mind of her own, not materialistic and knows what they want in life and a relationship.
