I'm looking for someone with energy, openmindedness, and a curious intellect. Something about you could be offbeat, eccentric or outrageous! Having said that, a practical side would not go amiss.

Wanting to travel, seeking new ideas and being creative is what makes you tick. Getting physical (in every sense of the word) is crucial. The sound mind/sound body principle is, I believe, the key to a contented existence.

I am very physically fit and love to be active on a daily basis. I've coached sports professionally and have trained several world and Olympic champions. If you wanted some advice about fitness i could be bribed! Much of the time I get around on my bike, but I've got a "machine" for road trips, skiing and rainy days.

I love to read and spend a lot of time catching up on the news of the world. I also like 'lefty' type magazines like Mother Jones and Utne Reader. Sport, design and entreprenneur mags also have a way of sneaking in the house on a regular basis. Bookwise I typically read non-fiction, but am looking for some good fiction suggestions... got any?

I love all sorts of music: The Weakerthan's, Stars, Mad Professor, Grinderman, old reggae and dub, blues, funk, folk, etc. I can't stand the Oldies or Top 40 stuff that almost every radio station in Vancouver plays. Therefore, I listen to CBC, CITR and the BCIT station when I'm working or driving.

I'm fit, well read, culturally, politically and socially aware and am a jack of all trades. Some I've mastered - some I'm still working on!

Being conservative or stodgy wouldn't work for me, but If you're unique and active I'd like to hear from you.
