About Me
I find that we take life too seriously and struggle to make it perfect. In expecting perfection we actually diminish what life gives us. We expect that if we are nice everyday that we will have happiness and success. I believe that we must work hard everyday and be thankful for the happiness and success; starting the next day and work as diligently. When we place expectations in front of us we are usually disappointed. Why? Not because of what we have obtained but because we forget how we obtained the wish. It is the journey not the destination that we seek.
I believe in being answerable for my actions and I have passed that onto my two sons. I am proud of whom they have become. I am also surprised as to how many people I count on as friends. When we die we are measured by how many friends we leave behind not how much wealth!
I love all the seasons for each of their strengths. I look forward to the change in season as much as the season itself. I love the outdoors but I am not an outdoorsman. I am trying to simplify my life, enjoy it and grow. I really do look forward to each new day. I am thankful for what I have and what I have accomplished.
And finally I believe that people come into our live for a reason, a season and a lifetime (I know it is a worn cliche). I hope that I have the wisdom to recognize what each one brings to my life experience. I hope to have the passion to enjoy life, the health to see my grandchildren and the wisdom to pass on to them.

A man with a heart of gold. If ever there was anyone in this world I would want to be stranded on an island with it is Intrepid. Not only is he a man of many talents, but, no one, and I mean no one, can run screaming like a banshee as this man can. lmao
I first met Intrepid two summers ago, and since then, I have grown to enjoy his warmth and compassion for all things living since. A truer friend you will not find.
Now maybe he is still looking for his Cinderella, but I would gladly let him dance with me at the ball anyday.

 | One of my oldest POF friends. I met this man at my first party and my life has never been the same since.
I love him like a brother. He's a great guy to have around, hallarious, and full of inspiration to me. He is one of the few that could make a plastic fish stick to his nose for an extended period of time. He is my PPD (inside joke..just ask). He's always there for his friends and always ready for a party. One of the few that taught me how to shoot tequilla!! |
