I'm an experienced, life worn, but not worn out, man who has served his time as a dutiful son to my parents, and father to my children. Now, I'm living my second life with intense feeling. I’m “Emotionally Available”, I don't need any 12-step recovery programs. Any “baggage” that I’ve acquired in my life has been jettisoned.

I'm a university graduate. I've done my stint in the boardrooms, and now I'm working to create things that I can be proud of without any compromises. That means working with both my hands and my mind.

I'm down here from the north, hiding from winter. I keep in shape by living on a sailboat where I have to swim and row my dinghy. Instead of a car I ride my bike. The benefit is that I can sail. For that reason I'm looking for an active person. You don't have to be a jock, but you can't get out of breath walking up stairs either. Currently I weight 190 pounds and stand 6'. So you too should have a BMI that's not much higher than mine.


I personally look for someone worthy of investment, interest, and emotion. I want
- holding hands while walking along the street
- a kiss before parting
- a kiss when meeting
- interest in all aspects of each other's lives
- a hug for no reason
- a slow dance that is as intimate as can be accomplished with clothes one
- whispered words in the midst of many
- coffee brought to bed on a Saturday morning (by either partner)
- laughter, lots and lots of laughter
- caring
- passion, lust, hunger, need, want, desire
- an open mind.

I get excited by the potential life still holds for wonder and excitement.

Let's see. Recently I've tried skydiving, SCA, and Shakespeare in the park (as part of the audience, not as an actor). We should start with coffee and conversation to see whether we want to go fishing, on a picnic, or simply wander through downtown savannah and check out the statues in each park. However interesting suggestions will be treated with enthusiasm.
