I'm a college student majoring in History at UIC right now. I really like learning about history, I have a lot of history books. My favorite time to study is World War II, though I also like to study about the Vietnam War, the CIA, and more modern issues as well. I usually have a few books going at once, especially during the school semester. I've got a subscription to The Nation as well. I've been working out a lot lately, just need to start eating better (which is harder than it should be). I like to go running. During the school semester I'll be on the track at UIC, but in the summer I run around the neighborhood. I'm really into comedy. I've taken classes at The Second City and loved it. Really want to go back there someday and take more classes. My sense of humor is really crazy and has been molded through years of watching shows like the Simpsons (before it started to suck), Family Guy, Metalocalypse, South Park, and movies like Anchorman (pretty much anything with Will Ferrell) and the 40 Year Old Virgin. I'm working part time at UPS while I'm in school. I work nights, Monday thru Friday, but I've always got my weekends free, and I can get any night I want off pretty easily (except in December). I love music, and I'm totally into metal, it's my favorite type of music. I can listen to hard rock too, but no emo stuff. I love KoRn, Chimaira, Lamb of God, Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Slipknot, System of a Down, etc. I love going to live shows whenever there is a good band in town. I'm learning to play guitar and bass right now, and I'm also pretty good at Guitar Hero and Rock Band. I'm getting pretty good on my Bass now. If you're into metal, big plus, but I don't really care, as long as you don't hate it. I'd like to meet someone who is smart, someone I can actually have an intelligent conversation with every now and then. I don't like smokers, big turn off, can't believe there are people who still do it considering all the health problems it can cause and just how expensive it is. Has to like dogs. I've got a Sheltie named Ozzie (no, not after who you think, my dad named him after the White Sox manager). I'm not really looking for a party animal. I'd like to meet someone who would maybe go running with me as well. Gets kinda boring when I'm alone. Extra points if you can name the song I got my Headline from.

Probably just grab something to eat and talk, to learn a little bit about each other. Maybe even catch a show at the Second City or something.
