I am just reentering the dating scene and am looking for someone to bring along on the journey. I love to fish, watch documentaries and movies, and just talk. I consider myself to be an honest person and would like to meet someone who is the same way. I am interested in trying new things, meeting new people and making new friends. I can be spontaneous and surprise somebody with a gift on occasion. I am not ashamed to admit that I do remember anniversaries, do not look down on others, and am open-minded to sometimes unpopular opinions. I have a post-graduate degree, but still phase out the occasional interstate highway exit. I love to surf the web and fool with the computer, but still have not gotten around to using the digital camera that sits before me right now.

Overall, I am a curious person, prone to lay on the grass and stare up at the stars on the rare Vermont nights where it is not too cloudy, and take it all in. I like science fiction and contemplate how I can be part of a positive future. I can have a wry sense of humor and am not afraid to comment on some of the absurdities in life. I look forward to hearing from new people.

My first date would start out with coffee or a light lunch. Or maybe walk around town, stop for a drink somewhere, and then who knows what. Generally, nice long talks and gentle walks let people get to know each other better. If friends come along to break the ice or double date that is great too. I would just like to have a relaxed time and have fun. No serious talk, just a chance to make a connection with somebody new. That is exciting enough.
