My interests include most outdoor activities---a hike, a bike ride, boating, kayaking, and even fishing and grilling a great meal. I like to camp, but I confess I appreciate modern "facilities"! Love sitting outside by the fire. I look forward to being able to do more traveling to warm locations and spending weekends away exploring new places. Usually go to Florida at least once a year. Winter will find me hibernating near a fire reading, attempting to finish a crossword puzzle, catching a movie or socializing with friends. Enjoy watching football with some hot wings (go Kurt Warner). Born and raised in Maine, I have lived and travled in the south and entertain moving again in the future--not sure but am open to the possibility. Friends have said I'm a compassionate listener, interesting conversationalist, and loyal confidente. Sense of humor shows frequent appearances. I'm health conscious, not a health nut. I exercise-couple of miles several times a week on the treadmill, am comfortable in my own skin. We all have room for self improvement, but I'm happy with who I am. I love music of the 70's. See Motor Booty Affair (band) when they are in town. Like country, classic rock, blues, and contemporary rock, too. No rap or heavy metal, please. Appreciate an intelligent, confident, self assured man who is secure in his own veiws and respects the same in others. Sense of humor a must. True gentlemen rock. I'd like to find a man interested in working toward common goals and enjoying the ride as much as the accomplishments.

Although I'm a fan of movies, plays, and live music, I would prefer a first date be a meal out or a beer at a pub and some interesting conversation.
