I can get on well with most people and I am creative, affectionate, honest, energetic, loyal and got good sense of humour and yet very serious at times.
My friends would describe me as independent, reliable, personable with lots of positive attributes.

I would like to meet people for friendship first, hopefully leading to a long term committed relationship; Someone who is sensitive to other's needs, supportive, encouraging, be able to communicate with intelligent interaction, emotional engagement and bonding are all so essential.

Looks are secondary though not unimportant. It would not take much time to find out if there are going to be any spark or chemistry between us following the emails, telephone calls progressing to meeting up eventually.

Things that would put me off in a man would be uncouthness, lack of social graces and poor personal hygiene. Excessive alcohol and bad tempered unsafe driving would definitely be a NO NO for me, as I would not sit in your car.

I like keeping myself occupied with a variety of things to do. My hobbies includes essential and competitive gardening, swimming, reading, moderate amount of TV (mainly news and documentaries), movies, shopping, seeing friends and listening to Classic Fm and LBC. I have a passion to see the world and enjoy travelling to far flung places or short weekend breaks. Given a chance, I would like to do 5 a year.

I enjoy good healthy food from all over the world, eating in or out. Hot spicy food is yum yum . Luckily I do not have a weight problem. Alcohol does not agree with me as I become unwell after drinking it, so don't invite me out for alcohol. A lot of orientals lack a certain enzyme in their liver which does not enable them to metabolise alcohol. (This is true).

I work Mondays - Fridays and I do have free time in the evenings and weekends. I am open to trying new activities/experiences so long as it is safe and the risk of injuries are low. I don't fancy breaking my neck! Over the last few months, I managed to learn how to ski, snowboard and jump off the top plank of the diving board. Keeping in touch with friends and family abroad is very important to me.

I've been divorced for 7 years and have a 14 year old daughter who lives with me. I was born in Malaysia of Chinese ethnicity and I have lived in London for 27 years and UK is now my adopted country of residence.
