Well I thought maybe I'd start off a little different than most, by listing what I'm not looking for first, as this is usually what causes problems so better to be up front. Generally ppl have similar interests so not going to put anything down for now. Want to focus on what I'm NOT looking for first.

NO GAMES, I'M NOT LOOKING FOR ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE FOLLOWING: must be a 100% Non Smoker, Zodiac,palm readers ,Gay ppl, Married/Divorced/Separated, Existing Kids, Drug Users,Heavy Drinkers, Criminals, Unfaithful 1 NightStands,women who have had lots of sexual partners. After all it's usually what ppl don't like that make ppl split up so better to be up front. I'm aware that by listing these things I am eliminating alot of women, but I'm looking more towards long term so that is why I'm narrowing my options. And NO I'm not a narrow minded person, just that I have values and beliefs on what is right and what is wrong. So I prefer those who have a high moral sense and live a very clean lifestyle.

I'm not bitter about previous relationships. I just don't want to waste any ones time by pretending I like something when really I don't. However I'm not some stubborn person who can't/won't learn new things it's just there are some fundamental principles in life I do strongly believe in .

I think, it takes more courage to be single in your 30's, and look for a real relationship, which could turn into something serious. Than just be in a relationship that's going no where, just so you can say that your not single, as if there is something wrong in being single.

However time does seem to be going by quicker and quicker these days which makes being 35 and single not as fun, as one might think. There are so many important things in life that marriage opens the door to that I'm starting to hear the knocking getting louder.

I feel a relationship is similar in ways to making a successful fire that you can light with a few matches,or at least without using alot of gas. If all you have with someone is paper thin similarities then once you start the fire(relationship) it will quickly go out. However if we start off with lots of kindling (common values, goals, outlook in life,personalities,religion) when we decide to go ahead and ignite the fire(relationship), the kindling will give a real solid foundation for the fire(our relationship) so that when life throws us a log(problem) the fact that there is lots of kindling and hot embers, the log(problem) quickly burns down (goes away) and it turns strengthens the fire, and as each additional log that is added to the fire, you'll see that the fire actually burns hotter and stronger. Together we have over come lifes' challenges and have found the strength in eachother. Not saying we have to be exactly the same. Laughter will help with the differences. Plus I do give really fantastic massages. I know there is the saying that opposites attract, but I think there still needs to be the same core moral/values in each other to have a long term loving marriage.

I would want to meet shortly after sharing some emails /chats. As I'm not on here just to make cyber friends however face to face platonic friends for dinners,movies etc maybe an option. It might be just easier to keep it simple for the first date to see how much chemistry/sparks/kindling there is between us. If we don't spark then no problem, but better to try then always wonder what if.

I figure this could be a great way to help find similar minded ppl. Probably never thought they'd use the internet for helping to find a possible mate. Yet have come to a realisation that it might not be an option to be overlooked. As the Apple method hasn't really worked out yet. I do opportunity spot (strike up conversations) with women when I'm out an about, but it's not easy when you have specific qualities that your looking for. I'm pretty outgoing and enjoy meeting new ppl or joking around with ppl in stores/parties.

I enjoy playing and watching sports CFL is my favourite. Enjoy all animals and have had horses, dogs,cats, and rabbits as pets. Building a camp fire and watching the sunset. Backyard BBQ. Hanging out on a patio sharing a few drinks and laughs. Once in awhile going to the bar and dancing.

Would like to do some world travelling maybe to Europe see some old castles. Again I think travelling with someone to share the experiences with makes the trip that much more memorable.

I grew up on a grain farm, so I'm not scared of putting in a full days work. Fairly handy when it comes to fixing things, or finding a creative way of doing something differently. I have been living in Wpg for along time now, but still feels good to get out of the city once in awhile and breath in some country air. The whole sun rise/set keeps drawing me out to the country. Not to mention quading and skidowing.

Well the next step is yours, if you've liked what you've read then I look forward to hearing from you. As women who make the first move get an extra scoop/toping of ice cream. I do like women that can hold a challenging conversation, are fairly independent, don't have to learn the hard way (ie lots of common sense is important) and fairly financially sound. Live a clean lifestyle and knows that it's important to be extremely careful who they share their heart/body with.

Go somewhere easy like out for ice cream or maybe toss a football around in a park basically a place where we can talk. Best to see if there is some face to face chemistry first. Maybe on a windy day go fly some kites. Or if you have a pet go to the dog park and toss around the ball or frisbee.
