I'm a sweet, fun, adventurous midwestern girl still waiting for the right guy. I'm a great catch, just holding out for that down-to-earth kind of guy who'll protect me and shelter me, that guy who'll value me just as much as I value and respect him. I'm honest and genuine, love to laugh, have my values in order, and wear my heart on my sleeve.

I'm pretty independent, hard-working, and self-sufficient, but I have also come a long way in learning how to rely on others more, and reaching out and letting them help me where I am needing it. I have created a great life for myself out here, and I'd love to find someone to share it all with, someone to keep me strong when it all gets to be too much. Maybe someone to fix stuff for me and help me out a little, and then hold me tight to make it all better when I'm sad... I'm a great friend and I know how to care, and how to love.

I've met a lot of guys that think they're ready to find the "The One," but when it comes down to it, they only seem to know how to step outside of themselves when it's convenient. I put the people I care about in my life, my friends, family, or someone I am dating, as a priority, and I feel like that's what real love is. I choose to believe that exists yet in a few rare men out there, and I am content and at peace knowing we will find each other. So I will wait...

I love being active -- hiking, biking, running, kayaking, climbing, rafting, riding, Bikram yoga, working out at the gym, you name it. I love to laugh and make others laugh -- even if it's at my expense, to feel alive, to live life for what matters. And, in my opinion, what really matters is spending your life surrounded by people who breathe and dream with the same energy and hope that you do. I am grateful for my life and for the best that is yet to come... ;)
