Ok, so I like the challenge of the Grouse Grind and work-out regularly, but I can honestly tell you that I've never sky-dived, bungee-jumped, rock-climbed, or surfed and I don't want to hurt myself on a date trying...however, I could be persuaded to surf if it was in Tofino and we had a room with a fireplace and a hot-tub...

I am loyal, compassionate, creative, and funny. I love to cook, share some laughs and good conversation over dinner, and get outdoors for some hiking and kayaking. I live in Kits and you'll often find me walking my dog at jericho or the UBC Endowment lands.

I am schooled as a furniture designer and have worked for the past 9 years as Director of one of the top home decor companies in Vancouver. My career is incredibly fulfilling and provides the creative outlet I've always been seeking.

My idea of a fantastic date is to spend the day exploring the city, going for a hike, or mayabe checking out the art gallery or a museum. Then, after picking up some fresh ingredients at Granville Island, making a nice dinner and enjoying your company over a good bottle of wine.

my job:
I love my career. Furniture Design led me to the job I've had the last nine or ten years. We deal in high end furniture/accessories. We stared with one store and have grown to five. Our passionate plan is to have 70 across North America.

my ethnicity:
I've spent the last 20 years in Vancouver with the exception of a couple of years in Nelson. From a large family. Grew up on a farm. Parents still together and living there. Second youngest of five.

favorite hot spots:
Haven't travelled a lot in the last few years...last great place was Prague. Work takes me to San Francisco, Las Vegas, and North Carolina a couple of weeks every year.
Would love to someday go to Iceland as I am part Icelandic...some day...will be heading soon to Munich and Copenhaggen for vacation...

favorite things:
...well, I do like the rain...sometimes. Favorite movies, lots...some classics... Charade... definitely, Casablanca...yes, all Hitchcock, Annie Hall, Truly Madly Deeply, so many.
