My name is Chase, born n raised in Santa Barbara and I guess the title says it, Im lookin for my partner in crime! lol I want to meet someone I can explore the world with; someone I can share similar values, priorities and interests with. In the big picture, Im really only looking for something long term, exclusive, consistent and intimate. Im not interested in anything casual or physical-emphasised, it really just isnt enough for me over time, I need to find a significant connection with the person Im seeing. Id say I have an intense personality but I generally carry myself pretty reserved; I prefer smaller and more personal social environments, as Im somewhat introverted. I dont drink much, at least, I dont drink enough to enjoy "downtown" enough, so my weekends are usually pretty tame in that regard. Ive had a few internet dates in my past and for the most part its been a success in one way or another, as x's end up as good friends, in the end. I find myself being able to relate more to people I come in contact with through the internet because like myself, they tend to be more likely to share interests and personality traits with me, as opposed to someone I might come across in a bar or the gutter (same thing) lol. Ive always had terrible experience with women that fed off over-masculinity and chauvinism (the "bro'ho" is the scientific term i think hah). I like women that are very low key and down to earth, a woman to keep me on my toes, don't get me wrong, Id just rather be appreciated directly rather than merely tolerated for the things about me we don't share in common (which is usually the case). I'd like to be with someone that had similar priorities in a relationship as I did, a similar lifestyle as I do and someone into the same hobbies and interests as I; mainly nerdy culture. If I could actually meet someone that had a direct curiosity in the things I was about or was interested in, theyd truly be starting 5 steps ahead (FYI). People have always told me that I have a knack for seeing what's on their mind and that I am very influential and intuitive. I have an attitude towards my life like it's an open book and I am very open about it (sometimes it gets me in trouble I guess). Communication is always a big part of my life on a social and intimate level. Anyways, hope all this intrigues enough to say hi! Hrm a first date... WELL considering id be meeting via the INTERNET (oooh creepy scary strangers on the internet!) I would probably have a differnt style of a "first date" than i would, had I met someone at a bar, then gave her my number, then arranged a date. Coffee shops are classic, maybe Boarders or something like that works best. Its always best to be safe and keep things casual. Thats one of the biggest drawbacks to meeting from the internet is there's so much BUILD UP and EXPECTATIONS and ASSUMPTIONS and anticipation about the date and the person etc. Oh well, it does have its advantages at times. Anyways I still enjoy the convenience of the internet so Im definately eager to meet people!
