I am extremely close to my family, because like most Italian families, your devotion and dedication is required. I am first generation Sicilian in this country on my dad's side. I am the oldest of four children and I have been raised in a pretty devout Catholic atmosphere. However, my family as a whole, is very open-minded and very cool with their gay son and the men he dates.
