I'm a hard-working, artistic and creative woman living a new chapter in my life, after raising a son and daughter alone for over ten years. I've been dating for quite a while, but would like to eventually find a genuine man, one who's personable, spiritual, sensual, charitable, and not afraid to laugh at themselves. I'm adventurous and like to try new things, whether it be a new band or a back road. I love many different types of music, anything from blues, folk, jazz to classic rock. Creativity, art and music are staples in my life and I rely on them for pleasure and relaxation. Nature and environmental consciousness also play pivotal roles in my life and I like to be outdoors as much as possible. After a day of working in the garden, you'll find me on my deck, enjoying some wine and observing nature, sometimes alone, often with a friend or two. Fall always finds me outdoors, with friends, doing whatever, weather permitting. I am able to chat quickly and easily about any number of topics and never have a problem meeting people or making friends; in other words, I'm easy going, fun and very flexible.

In my free time I enjoy staying busy, so I'm really not much of a television person. If there's a history related documentary or special, then I might watch it...I guess I'm more into hobbies and reading for pleasure. I would like to find someone who is affectionate and very comfortable in their own skin. Just meeting for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine is always an optimal choice; a way to break the ice and get conversation going. Conversation can be compelling, and the gift of communication is vital, but the all-important "CHEMISTRY" has to be present. Perhaps a time limit should be set on the first meeting, unless we find ourselves enjoying each others company, then anything agreeable to both is fine.
