Truth in advertising! My headline actually does describe me BUT I really don't take myself that seriously. I'm humorous, intelligent, honest, love the outdoors, love kids and dogs AND I want the same in my "Perfect Match". Beyond that he can be extremely different from me. Perfect would be so boring. Life should be experienced through new foods, adventures, or quiet times. I try to be fit and healthy allowing for the occasional transgressions. TRY is the key word ..

Life should be lived somewhat like the following analogy .. like a jet .. amazed and awed by the takeoff .. soaring through the sky on nothing more then physics and metal .. an adrenaline rush from the turbulence .. and oh that torque .. WOW .. and the enjoyment and relaxation of a feather soft landing .. Learning, laughing and loving for the whole ride.

I'm very compassionate and passionate in all aspects of my life .. I can't imagine being less of either .. If because I love life and want to live it to the fullest makes me sound like a player .. I'm not .. Do I believe in chemistry? YES .. most definitely!!! "Chemistry" can be so illusive. Chemistry not only on the physical level but also on the intellectual and the emotional level .. Emotional, i.e., the “heart”. The romantic in me just won't give up! ..

I'm comfy with or w/o makeup .. My pictures aren't the best .. but you won't be disappointed! .. the real thing .. the real deal .. honest, loyal and trustworthy .. hummm .. I've also just described my dog .. I even have a cold nose .. but that's the only thing cold about me .. ;-) Everybody around me thinks I'm MUCH younger ... I've got a picture in a closet that does all of the aging (like Dorian Gray .. lol).


I'm looking for a man that wants to meet someone and feel that instant rush of chemistry when their eyes meet .. that wants a deep intellectual connection .. that wants to feel those illusive butterflies with every thought of her and keep them over time .. and never look back .. never wonder because life is just to short to wonder and over analyze .. this takes a truly trusting person .. I'm that way, are you? A man that wants a true equal but knows that we each have our different strengths and weaknesses. A man that wants to grow old together .. becoming that very old, adorable, frail couple both pushing a shopping cart at the grocery .. side by side taking on the world together. You’ve got to be out there because I’m too much of a romantic to believe otherwise.

By the way I'm not a "country woman" but a "city woman" that loves hiking, etc. in the country then going home to the city. Lexington barely cuts it as a city but ...

Recently switched careers .. I'm a biologist by training - love all those creepy crawly things. I've taught at the university and high school levels .. I haven't always in been in academics - also been in sales.

Hummm … 1st date … before a 1st date we would have emailed than talked for hours via the phone … getting to know each other … being honest … laughing and having intense conversations … seeing if there is any chemistry over the phone … it does show up on the phone … if there's no chemistry why have a 1st date? So by the time the 1st date occurs we would already know many things about each other … Meet somewhere where we would both feel comfortable … have a leisurely drink … maybe an appetizer and get to know each other with great conversation and laughs … I think the 1st date is where chemistry really shows, up-close and personal … that’s very important to me … chemistry on all levels … or else there is no 2nd date …

And in conclusion ... I'm an admitted "intelligence junkie". If you don't understand that comment than we're not a match. MUST be able to write in full words and speak on the phone. Is not over weight, not into me hanging on the back of a Harley BUT I would like learning to ride side by side. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ... this gets so old!
