I'm a soft spoken, southern gentleman. Mostly described as too nice for my own good. I never meet a stranger, but often meet strange people. There's nothing fake about me. I don't change personalities according to the people I'm around. I strive to be me wherever I am. I like down to earth people. I believe in being better to my family than anyone. I absolutely hate to argue. I've been through that. I'm not going to do it, or be around it. Words have killed more people than any war. I try to think about every word that comes out of my mouth. Manipulation doesn't work very well with me, either.

I've absolutely worked my life away. I'm going to change that. I'm not sure I really know how to have fun like normal people do.

Every profile I read says humor and kissing is important. I'm a great kisser, according to my Mom and 2 sisters. My brother said I was just average, but he had a lip full of Skoal. I nearly threw up. However, he still won't shut up about my "bedroom eyes". Never been told I'm handsome, but my Mom did say I was tolerable. Superb at putting the commode seat down. Competed several years on the UBET (Universal Bathroom Etiquette Tour), until an unfortunate incident involving a Hershey's Kiss. I still give lessons to clueless guys on Thursday nights at the local BP station. I'm very creative, inventive and innovative. I've been described as a "why not?" guy. Often described as an entrepreuner, but sometimes I feel more like entremanure. I deal with ADD. That usually means I have the attention span of a gnat. It can also mean I'm fairly intelligent, but I leave that up to other people to decide. It's been a gift creatively, but has also made my life much harder. If I had to choose, I'd take ADD. The world needs unconventional people like me to keep things interesting.

I'm very visually oriented. I design and make signs, shirts, and many more things. I'm a good photographer, although I'm quite out of practice.

I'm not a typical country boy. I don't hunt and fish. I don't watch sports, unless it's someone I know or college football. NASCAR makes me dizzy. The sickest I've ever been is when I was determined to start dipping Copenhagen. However, I do drive a pickup.

I'm very compassionate. I somehow think I can help everyone who is down on their luck. Sometimes, if a child is involved, I'm pretty sure I'm getting conned, but the kid can't help having stupid parents. They can forget about money. It's all I can do to take care of myself. Although I'm more comfortable being a male version of a wallflower, I make every effort to make people feel comfortable. I'm pretty good at meeting people, and sensing their needs. I'm confident enough that I often use self deprecating humor.
I've spent just about 30 years raising kids. I was lucky to keep my kids after the divorce, but I want two "do-overs". I made many mistakes, and feel like I didn't do as much as I should have. But my boys (29 and 25) think I'm great. The oldest married August 22, and the youngest married October 10. If you're willing to take some advice, your children need you far more than you need another relationship. Once the kids are grown, you'll have more than enough time to enjoy life. I really can't see myself raising young children. Ladies, be careful blending families. It "ain't" the Brady Bunch.

So, that's my side of the story. Just like everyone else, I have plenty of faults.
