I'm looking for someone who loves to laugh. Someone who is laid back and not too sensitive. Someone who gets pop culture references. Someone who I can have an intelligent discussion with, and who is not afraid to talk about philosophy and culture.
I don't take life too seriously, but I am responsible. I like to laugh, but I really like to make other people laugh. I speak both French and English fluently. I have an 18 year old daughter whom I am very proud of. My only other "children" are my cats, Vern and Sophie.
I'm a suburbanite who moved to the country, although I still work in the Ottawa.
I am an avid cinefile, and I have been collecting movies since 1983. I've collected so much that I have over 500 DVDs I haven't watched yet! I have been an amateur photographer since I was a teenager (which is also when I started using computers, in 1977!)
I worked as a radio producer/writer for 17 years, before getting a "real" job.
I plan to fulfill my dream of making films, starting with short films until I get the hang of it. Then I'll try something bigger.
I have a passion for human rights, especially workers' rights (which is why I don't shop at Wal-Mart). I like to talk about philosophy, politics, history, and spirituality.
