This is slightly less intimidating than walking around with a plaque around my neck saying 'free to a good home', but here goes...
My friends describe me as honest, loyal, talkative and gets on with everyone(which is nice of them) and fun to be around. I'm am a typical scorpio and choose my friends very carefully and would do anything for them.
I love trying new things and going to new places. Im a massive film fan, which means I have yet another excuse to eat lots of sweets. I go to the gym to work off my over indulgences and I ride or walk all over the place. Since my job is very seasonal I do get the time off work to travel, so im off to alicante (parents have moved there, how jammy is that?!) and then the czech republic at the end of this year!
I cook all the time (im a grill chef,so I kinda have to know my way around the kitchen) and make a really mean pasta and meatballs, cheesy cottage pie and beef stoganoff. Im always reading (usually when stuck on the train going to and from dawlish warren) and manage to fill up every minute of my time away from work.
I dont know what else to say except that im a really easygoing guy that would love to meet and chat to other easygoing and lovely people....

If it helps any i hate marmite (the spread of satan), the smell of cat food, waiting in supermarket queues and on platforms for trains, rap music with lyrics that make no sense, all politicians, the sound of my alarm clock, walking behind old people, those 3d pictures that I cant see, people who steal the last bit of milk from the fridge, sunburn, buying shoes for my size 12 feet, text speak, running out of coffee, banks when they mess up my pay, the red line that appears under words that tells me I cant type or spell, red onion makes me sneeze and always finding that I have one sock missing.

I love my close friends, strawberry cheesecake ice cream, the simpsons and family guy, popping bubble wrap, getting the day off unexpectedly, cheesy mashed potato, long lie ins, sunny days when i'm not at work, sneaking sweets into the cinema, experimenting with new meals, zinfandel wines, expensive coffee, funny jokes, watching people get greedy on deal or no deal and end up with 1p, walks on the beach, chatting to someone who is a great listener, long bike rides, the happy feeling you get after an hour in the gym, water taxi rides to work and anyone that leaves me a meal to re-heat after work.
Lastly, I know that 'petecancook' is a bit of a sad tagname but all the cool names were already taken. Even 'petethewierd'. With the third most common name in Britain its hard to be original. Any suggestions would be appreciated..

p.s if you've got this far and finished reading my little 'novella', you deserve a nice sit down with wine/coffee!

It has to be either a nice meal (Italian and Chinese are my faves) with wine and a lovely seaside view, the cinema to watch a great movie with a few drinks afterwards to get to know each other better, beach walk? Picnic in the sunshine? I love live music,so going to see a band would be good too...anything really as long as the company is right....
