I'm a bright, feisty little gal with a twisted sense of humor and a slightly nerdy side. I can be infuriating in an adorable way. I'll make you laugh and see it from my point of view. I can never finish telling a joke. I'm a blast to hang out with. I enjoy getting to know individuals one on one. I have a healthy self-esteem, tempered with a good dose of humility and compassion. I'm very generous and appreciative of others' efforts, especially the little things most people don't notice. I'm affectionate, sincere and very inquisitive, but I have a mischievous side.. curiosity has its perks. ;)

I have a wide variety of interests and can be talked into pretty much anything that sounds even remotely fun. I'm active, adventurous and at times, impulsive (road trip!). Most likely, though, you'd find me curled up at home… and ideally with someone special. I have many stories and can be an incredible conversationalist. I have the ability to put people at ease, make them smile, laugh, forget their troubles for a while and have a good time.

Even though most of the time I'm independent, financially responsible, level-headed and mature, I can be a big kid too. In a relationship, I'm very devoted and loving and I show it. I admit when I’m wrong, am a great listener and can be very supportive of my partner. Even though I'm more of an introvert and am comfortable being alone or with my significant other most of the time, in social settings I tend to make friends easily and can be very outgoing and am often mistaken for an extrovert.

I'm looking for someone who is confident and considerate, has a well-developed sense of self, can be very mature yet is capable of being a giant goofball at the same time. He's able to keep up his end of witty banter, is quick on his feet, takes it in good humor and dishes it back out without batting an eye. In fact, bonus points if humor is your forte.

My ideal man would be sensitive and kind, with a big, warm soft side; he’d be sweet and affectionate while retaining a strong, understated masculine side. I like men who act like men. This can be interpreted to include a wide variety of interests and qualities. I don't mind that men and women are different creatures, in fact, it's what makes them fascinating and irresistible.

Most importantly, my ideal guy would be a gentleman in all aspects. Like most women, I truly appreciate acts of chivalry. Opening our doors, walking us to our car, making dinner reservations, being polite, courteous and kind--anything that shows your considerate nature--make us feel sexy, special and feminine. Much like the way we might do things that make you feel manly, competent and strong, (even if you're hesitant to admit it). Being a perfect gentleman is all about respecting boundaries, being attentive, reasonably accommodating, courteous and well-mannered. This is how to make us swoon. Master these simple things your mother taught you and are so easy to do, and you will reap the rewards. :)

I'm selective about the quality of men I meet. Quality does not entail what you wear/drive/own, how you earn your living or how much you earn; rather it's the amount of integrity, understanding and compassion you possess. It is the person who is able to discern right from wrong, consistently makes honorable decisions and stands their ground on their beliefs. Simple concept, yet surprisingly hard to find.

In a nutshell, I’m looking for my best friend who is much, much more.*

*Even if I don't find this person right away, I don't have a problem with meeting friends and interesting people in the meantime. It's been a while since I've found a person with whom I'm highly compatible, so I realize it may take some time to meet him... and I might as well meet some great people along the way.

What Floats My Boat:
I love the outdoors. I'm still learning how to stop when rollerblading (besides the smashing-into-a-tree technique). I play beach volleyball, frisbee and when the weather is tolerable, bike, hike, travel and go camping with LOTS of DEET. I also have a lot of firsts to be had--never been to a baseball game, ridden a jet ski, tried crabbing or gone parasailing. Wanna show me a good time? Let's cross off some firsts! Woo-hoo!

In random order: Fresh homemade guacamole, giant Amazonian river otters, my kitty, stick shifts, summer dresses, Woody Allen movies, jumping on hotel beds, psychological tests, casting & reeling, coed truth or dare among friends, stopping at cheesy tourist spots on unplanned road trips and kimchee.

What Makes Me (Somewhat) Unique:
I've lived in more than 12 different cities and towns across the U.S. and traveled to much more. If there was only more sunlight available year-round, Alaska would be on my list. I'm incredibly hard to embarrass.

How To Win Me Over:
I like a challenge. It's what keeps me motivated. Sexual restraint is a huge turn-on in the beginning, if not solely for the benefit of NOT appearing creepy or just plain needy. Raunchiness can be really fun and very entertaining, just not before I get a chance to find out who you truly are, ok? Look, I can be just as kinky as the next girl (probably kinkier)--but, and listen up guys--it's imperative you demonstrate a little self control at first. Leave me wanting more.
