Hello, and now for something completely different!

I'm a 23 year old awesome guy looking for an awesome girl to have awesome times with. Degrees of awesome don't have to be consistent, as long as it's always kind of awesome.

A bit about me - The main thing that I've always felt makes me who I am is my ability to fit in with just about everything. A single weekend for me could include, in no particular order, playing a game baseball, going to an indy rock show, attending a swing dancing lesson, watching a football game with "the guys", and a game of Dungeons and Dragons, every activity with a totally different group of people. I have a huge range of interests and am always keen on adding to it. I'm also hopelessly addicted to coffee - a day without Tim Hortons is not a good one.

Right now I'm not going to school, I've got 3 semesters left to finish a BSc in Math, and am thinking about teaching after I do that. Taking some time off right now to work a bit and loving it.

Music - apparently musical tastes are a big deal so... my taste is music is very inconsistent. Every couple months I find myself listening to totally different music and enjoying it. Right now I'm listening to mostly canadian indy rock stuff and a lot of electronic rock. A couple months ago I was listening to a lot of country music. A few things are pretty constant though - 60s-70s rock never gets old and Jack White is the best, The White Stripes and The Raconteurs will likely be my favorite artists for some time.

About what I'm looking for - someone who likes to try to do something different as often as possible. Someone intelligent, not looking for some kind of genius but the ability to carry on an interesting conversation now and then. I'm not picky with looks, but I do put some effort into keeping myself in somewhat healthy shape, so I generally like to be dating someone who does the same. Casual dating, a relationship, or just someone new to hang out with now and then would all be cool. Also, while I'm not quite hardcore enough to spend money on a gold star on this thing, I am pretty serious about the whole thing... I met my last 2 girlfriends online (although not on PoF) and am still friends with both of them - I've found it an amazing medium for meeting people if you give it a serious chance.

-I live near downtown Halifax with my 3 best friends and I love it.
-I'm originally from Northern NB, and speak very bad French.
-I play guitar, kind of rusty but really getting back into it.
-I love the east coast and wouldn't dream of living anywhere else.
-Seafood is one of the best things, overall.
-I love making plans, even though they always seem to change on the fly.
-I never watch TV but I've been known to watch entire DVD seasons of shows in a weekend.
-I tend to be really long-winded in text (for example, this profile :p )
-If you see me in the early morning it is probably because I decided not to sleep.
-Nothing beats a good pun. The more groan-worthy the better.
-I enjoy trivia games and crossword puzzles.

Anything quiet enough to have a good chat, but with enough background noise to cancel out the inevitable first date awkward silences. Busy coffee shop or downtown restaurant are the standards for a good reason. You can get creative with the 2nd date when it comes!
