I like to play pick-up basketball, pool, bowling, biking and I am a technophile. My friends say I am witty and funny. I am well educated and I love to learn new things. I have a very simple philosophy about life, we are here for only one reason, to make the lives of those around us better. That said it is an easy ideal that is extremely difficult to live every day.

I love my cats (yes I am a cat lover), my family and my friends. I like Brit-coms, sci-fi, documentaries, drama, movies and educational TV. I prefer to play sports rather than watch, with the exception of hockey and football.

I ski, mostly cross-country, I like to go for long walks, especially in the Fall, I like to sit in front of a fire and talk.

I am an extremely intelligent and well educated person who loves to learn and discuss new ideas. I would really like to meet a physically fit or active and very intelligent, open minded and honest lady. Someone who can challenge me both physically and intellectually.

I would like to find one serious lady who is interested in dating and hopefully forming a lifelong bond with one man. I am getting tired of meeting women who are not seriously looking for a long term relationship, I am not interested in one night stands or casual or 'friends with benefits'. I am respectful, loyal, honest and open with my feelings, and as such I would like to meet a woman who is the same. I would also like to meet a lady who doesn't like to play games, lead someone on, keep them hanging or is simply going to put someone on the backburner. I am ready for a serious relationship, I don't mind taking the time to develop it with the right person.

Not interested in making just friends...I have quite a few already. I really want to find a serious relationship. Friends first suits me fine however.
