I am looking for someone "real", genuine, and different. Moreover, I am looking for someone honest, spontaneous, respectable, sociable, and fun.

I enjoy nature, the outdoors, camping, hiking. Personally, I prefer someone who has a lot of energy, fun, willing to try out new things. Couch potatoes need not apply. I am a dog person over a cat person but all animals have their own interesting personality. I am not necessarily looking for someone who is exactly like me, or who has similar interests, but I am looking for someone who has other interests that I can explore as well. I am certainly not looking for a one night stand or for anything purely sexual for that matter, so if that is your intentions, stop now, look elsewhere. I am a person with much energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to try new things. I love my music. (So, if it's too loud, you are too old).

I have recently moved to Calgary from the Toronto area. So, I am just out there looking for new people and more friends, maybe date, maybe just hang out. Whatever develops with develop naturally... why rush?

My dislikes are simple: I do not like people who take on a personality that is not theirs. For example, who act one way in front of their friends and another way in front of family. (ie: a social mimic). I have little tolerance for those who lie or try needlessly to try to impress others. I hate earwigs, the colour pink, women who are very into themselves and take half an hour (or more) to get ready because it holds me up too, I dislike Brad Pitt, avacadoes, and uncomfortable bicycle seats.

Update: I also hate ice and falling on it. I am ex-military but not as agile on ice as I would like to be.

Update: NOT INTERESTED IN MARRIED MEN, ONE NIGHT STANDS, SEX ONLY, FLINGS, OR SOMETHING JUST PHYSICAL. NOT THAT KINDA GIRL!

I am not really into the dating scene so I have no idea what I would do. I like camping, but hardly appropriate for the first date. Movies are based on watching, not talking so you hardly get to know the person. I also am a little uncomfortable wolfing food down in front of people I just met - not attractive. So, perhaps a nice hike walk in the wilderness would be an ideal first date. A walk in a park is nice as well. Even a small picnic would be fantastic as well.

I am not a princess and do not want men to buy me gifts, go all out, or spend heaps of money on me (if fact, I would prefer to pay my own way). What can I say? I have a job, I am independent, and confident. Boo yah! Hmmm, maybe it is just best to let him choose, huh? hehehe
